SOME OF THE LITHIUM-ION BATTERY SYSTEM PROJECTS PINNACLE INNOVATIONS HAS COMPLETED

Whether our Customers are local or far away, rest assured that Pinnacle Innovations and getlithium.com can assist you with installation support on several levels. As most of customers are not local, we have learned how to communicate effectively with distant customers, their installers or their electrical engineers to help ensure a smooth installation. We see a whole range of projects from simple installations to complex large commercial power projects. On some of the more complex projects, we may charge a nominal fee for project research relating to your project, engineering consultations with experienced experts in the field or for detailed installation wiring diagrams.

At Pinnacle Innovations and getlithium.com we always treat safety and performance as priority #1. As a part of this, we take a total systems approach with each project and specify best in class/ approved products for your application. Our aim is always to keep systems as simple as possible without cutting corners. Due to different regulations in many different jurisdictions we always strive for the highest approval regulations in your jurisdiction. Where possible, we ask Customers to advise of regional or national regulatory standards applicable for your project.

March and April 2018: 24 Foot Ford Transit/ Orion RV Lithionics Lithium-ion Battery System Installation With Solar Panel and Inverter-Charger Upgrades

June 2020: 2010 Toyota FJ cruiser 4x4/ Camper

This was a relatively small project where the client had already purchased some solar components and needed assistance with consulting and the installation of two Go Power 50 and 100 Watt solar panels to recharge his existing secondary battery under the hood that runs things like the refrigerator in the back of the RV.

This project was a little tricky in that the client did not want any holes drilled in the roof or body of the truck and we had very limited space near the auxiliary battery for components and connections. We fabricated a custom aluminum bracket that bolted to the side of the existing metal battery tray and added a custom splash guard to protect components from water splashing up or things like a radiator hose bursting. On this installation we used the Bluetooth enabled Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 12 Volt solar charge controllers and the Victron BMV 712 battery state of charge monitoring system..

July 2020: 16' SeaRay Elco electric motor conversion.
Our client in California took on the installation of this project where we supplied the Elco EP 9.9 horsepower electric outboard motor, Victron AGM 130 Amp hour 48 Volt battery system, additional electrical parts/ Class T fuse, wiring diagrams and installation advice.

2019: Winnebago Trevato / Dodge RV Solar Installation

This client uses his RV when he travels for work. The plan here was to add additional electrical functionality, solar power and upgrade power cabling etc. for possible future addition of lithium-ion batteries. Here, we installed:

• Three SunPower 50 Watt solar panels to a Victron Smartsolar MPPT solar charge controller. Client did not want any holes in the roof so we used the special 3M VHB tape to mount the panels and 3M adhesive backed cable tie down baseplates.
• Victron Energy Phoenix 300 Watt inverter
• Victron Energy Venus GX tank/ communications control unit
• MasterVolt Charge Mate Pro 40 battery isolator/ current limiter on the OEM alternator
• Victron Energy BMV 712 battery monitor system
• Special 12 Volt wiring to the roof for the client's special LED accent lighting
